Backup schedule may include weekly, bi-weekly and monthly. Security Setup and Monitoring This includes setting up security and firewall to protect your website from vulnerabilities in line with WordPress best security practices and techniques. Regular scanning of your website for malware and other malicious attack would also be carried out. Up-time Monitoring We will monitor and ensure that your website stays online and functioning at all time. In collaboration with your hosting company when necessary, we will investigate any downtime, identify factors responsible and propose/adopt suitable solutions as applicable. Performance Optimization Speed and performance are important factors that contribute to visitors and users experience, improve site ranking and promote higher conversion rates. Using necessary tools, we will ensure that your site is always optimized to deliver on these experiences. Database Optimization This service includes regular and scheduled optimization of your website database. It also includes repairs of your database tables when necessary thereby ensuring that your database stays clean and optimized at all times, ultimately improving overall site performance. How often will maintenance be carried out on my website? We will set up a system that automatically notifies us whenever an update is available for your website. We shall however carry our actual maintenance work on your website at least once in a week depending on the scope of work that needs to be done. Will maintenance work on the website affect my visitors and users browsing the website? Most maintenance work will not affect your website and would not require your website being temporary closed. However, depending on the requirement or complexity of the plugin or theme being updated, we may need to do this sometimes. We shall however inform you before doing this, agree and implement the update or upgrade at the most unobtrusive time possible. What will I need to provide in order to use your service? You will only need to provide us with access information to hosting panel as well as your WordPress backend. We recommend creating a special access for us and providing us with necessary permission to access FTP, Database and other relevant and useful administrative tools/panel that may be required. Do your plans cover subscriptions for premium/paid plugins and themes? No it does not. Site owners would be required to maintain current and active subscriptions with their paid plugins and themes providers. Without this, it will be impossible to get access to updated versions of the plugins and themes concerned. Would I be required to pay for any plugin subscription or service that you specifically install on my website as part of your maintenance plan? Yes, you will. This cost is not covered in out maintenance plan. We will inform you if we need to get such plugin or service for your website. You will make purchase on your own and register for such service with your own personal detail. This will ensure that you can maintain and use these services even if you discontinue your plan with us. Our own job is simply to ensure that such plugins/services are properly setup, configured and used to maintain your website as designed. We will also deal with the plugin developers and service provider on your behalf if there are any issues with their product or service on your website. Do your plans cover multisite websites? Because of the peculiarities associated with multisite, we currently do not have maintenance plans for multisite. What happens when an update or upgrade breaks the website? We will immediately try to resolve the issue. If the issue is a major one that will require several hours’ work, we will revert back to the backup done before the update/upgrade was carried out. Do these plans cover custom development or design work on the website? No. The plans do not cover custom coding/development or design/re-design work to plugins or themes. However, if you need help in these areas and if the task is simple in nature, you can ask our support team and they will guide you as long as you are comfortable doing the job themselves. However, should you wish to hire us to do such simple and advance tasks for you, you can submit your requirement with our team and they will let you know the cost implication. Can I cancel my plans at any time? Cancelling existing and active subscription is not recommended as there will be no refund for amount paid but you can however choose not to renew your subscription upon expiry. We promise that we will always do everything within our power to ensure we resolve any issue that comes up with your websites.
